Leebo at Little Name

Just a quick one tonight. I managed to get really productive this evening and worked out the final lyrics for the next song, Millions Like Us. Obviously its all subject to change when I record it as some phrases just may not scan right but by all intents and purposes its done and as close to what I was hoping as its possible to be.

I managed to include narrative, a broader subject and a specific subject. I dont mention this to make a point about how much I pore over my words. I mean whether anyone else thinks they’re good or bad is irrelevant (and by that please dont take it to mean that I dont care, i really do care) its just that Ive done by best without sending myself stir crazy and achieving that is a success to me in itself.

So now its on to the struggle with the computer and recording the vocal line. Fingers crossed by the end of the month there’ll be another song to listen to. It feels good to be creating again and if this works out to anything approaching satisfaction I’ll feel confident enough that I have it in myself to complete an album.

I havent been to town in a while and now Im beginning to get itchy feet. You know what they say about ‘use it or lose it’ well I worry if I dont use my new found mini freedom then Ill lose it again. The thing is that, as usual, Im reliant on people to make these things happen for me.

I feel incredibly guilty about this and although I know that those who want to help do so because they care and are happy to see me happy and out I still hate to be a pest. Anyway Im hoping to get to Town one sunday and pop up to the open part of Liverpool One and buy myself another American Apparel top! By then I hope the Apple store is open too now that would be fun.
